The PRESIDENT'S APPOINTEES vs. COMMISSION ON APPOINTMENT
Ang Commission on Appointment ay isang sangay na nagsisilbing Human Resource Arm of the Government to interview, to investigate and to conduct the preliminary process of appointment before a person or any appointee of the President can legitimately enter or work in a government. So far, there are three appointees of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte that are denied or rejected by the Commission for an unclear reasons or basis. Let us just discuss the appointment of Perfecto Yasay as Foreign Affairs Secretary. After few deliberations, his appointment was rejected by the commission because according to according to them, nagsinungaling si Mr. Yasay sa hindi nito pagdeklara ng kanyang citizenship.
