These professionals are skilled in Statistics, Modelling Techniques, Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics, Develop Algorithms and other Analytics expertise coupled with Computer Programming skills in order to transform and convert insights in a scalable dashboards and applications. These people must also possess a very strong business sense wherein they can able to understand the market and to position the business in the niche.

They should possess skills in generating insights based from the actual enterprise data to illuminate the company in achieving its envisioned mission and vision, and they should possess outstanding skills in communication, leadership, collaboration, creativity and most importantly have the passion to provide truth in information. They should possess strong leadership in guiding the business and NOT the other way around. 

It is NOT about pleasing the boss to do what they wanted the data scientist to do, but to implement and do what is appropriate. At the end of the day, a TRUE and REAL Data Scientist will only do what is good for the business. They will not going to do things which eventually putting the business in shame because their reputation will be at risk.

Data Scientist plays a vital role in supporting leaders and developers who are expert in managing Big Data Infrastructure in creating applications and products where different algorithms are applied. The role of a Data Scientist in BIG BUSINESSES becomes more and more important, they are in increasing short supply.
