Thank you very much for accepting our invitation to become part of the Focus Group Discussion about the phenomenal Korea-Novelas.
 
Korean Dramas began airing in the Philippines in 2003. “Bright Girl” was first aired on GMA 7. Other Media Channels began airing Korean Dramas until it became hit to the masses. Pinakilig, Pinaiyak at Pinatawa tayo ng mga Korean shows na ito.
 
In 2008, “My Name Is Kim Sam Soon” and “Endless Love: Autumn in My Heart” aired on GMA 7 Network was ranked #4 and #7 most viewed Korean Drama, respectively; likewise, “Lovers in Paris”, and “Only You” aired on ABS-CBN in the same year, were ranked #5 and #6, correspondingly. “Legend of the Blue Sea”, “Goblin”, “Full House” Stairway to Heaven” and many other Korean series have then become popular.
 
In lieu of this, we want to know your views and opinions about the localization of Korean Drama. We are all aware of the impact of Digital Technology in our day-to-day viewing habits. Since we do not want you to miss a single episode, we are initiating this discussion with you to hear your opinions and thoughts about it.
 
The Focus Group Discussion will be next week(November 20 - 24, 2017 - , from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm. It will be held at 7th/flr. Regus Business Center, 8 Rockwell Building, Rockwell Center, 1200 Hidalgo Drive, Makati City, Philippines. Meals will be served and to compensate you for your time, we are providing Php1,000 as an honorarium.
